Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) is conveniently located within 30 minutes of both downtown Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul. The nation's largest shopping center, Mall of America, is just minutes away. With over 175 destinations offered by carriers such as Minnesota-based Sun Country and Northwest Airlines, MSP is the airport of choice for the region's travelers.

MSP has two full-service terminals that are connected via light rail or highway. There is no direct access from either building to the other. It's important that you know which terminal your airline uses.

The Lindbergh Terminal is located just off Highway 5 in St. Paul. Highway 5 connects to Interstate 494 and Highway 55.

The Humphrey Terminal is just south of Interstate 494 off 34th Avenue.

Both passenger terminals at MSP are served by light rail, which runs from downtown Minneapolis to the north from the Mall of America in Bloomington to the south.

Directions to Lindbergh Terminal

From Minneapolis

Take I-35W south to I-494 east. Travel east on I-494 to the Highway 5 exit. The Lindbergh Terminal is located directly off Highway 5. Follow the highway signs to the Lindbergh Terminal. The terminal exit will be on the left beyond the Post Road exit.

From St. Paul

Take I-35E south to the W. 7^th Street/MN-5 exit. Turn right onto W. 7^th Street/MN-5. Continue traveling west on MN-5. The Lindbergh Terminal is located directly off MN-5. Follow highway signs to the Lindbergh Terminal exit.

Take Seventh Street South to Highway 5. Travel south on Highway 5. The Lindbergh Terminal is located directly off Highway 5. Follow highway signs to the Lindbergh Terminal exit.

From the Southeast

From I-35E, travel north to I-494 west. Exit onto I-494 and travel west to the Highway 5/Lindbergh Terminal exit. Follow the highway signs to the Lindbergh Terminal. The terminal exit will be on the left beyond the Post Road exit.

From the Southwest

Take I-494 east to the Highway 5 exit. Exit onto Highway 5 and follow the signs to Lindbergh Terminal. The terminal exit will be on the left beyond the Post Road exit.

Directions to Humphrey Terminal

From Minneapolis

Take I-35W south to I-494 east. Take I-494 east to the 34^th Avenue exit. Exit 34^th Avenue and turn left (north) at the traffic light. Follow the signs to Humphrey Terminal.

From St. Paul

Take I-35E south to the W. 7^th Street/MN-5 exit. Turn right onto W. 7^th Street/MN-5. Travel west on MN-5 past the Lindbergh Terminal exit until you reach the 34^th Avenue exit. Follow the signs to 34^th Ave/Humphrey Terminal. Turn right (north) onto 34^th Avenue and follow the signs to Humphrey Terminal.

From the Southeast

From I-35E, travel north to I-494 west. Exit onto I-494 and travel west to the 34^th Avenue/Humphrey Terminal exit. At the traffic light, turn right (north) onto 34^th Avenue and follow the signs to Humphrey Terminal.

From the Southwest

Take I-494 east to the 34th Avenue exit. At the traffic light, turn left (north) onto 34^th Avenue and follow the signs to Humphrey Terminal.
