Plan Ahead this Spring for Mid-week Parking Constraints at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport’s Lindbergh Terminal
- Park at the Humphrey Terminal and Save $4 per Day -

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL – Due to heavy spring break travel activity now through the first week of April, customers traveling out of the Lindbergh Terminal at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) could experience mid-week parking constraints.

“The parking ramps at the Lindbergh Terminal have been filling for portions of the day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays,” said Arlie Johnson, Assistant Director for Landside Operations at MSP. “To avoid parking constraints at the Lindbergh Terminal, customers may want to consider parking at the Humphrey Terminal ramps instead.”

At the Humphrey Terminal General ramp customers can save $4 per day over those who park at the Lindbergh Terminal General ramp. For ePark® users, a full day at the Humphrey Terminal General ramp costs only $12 while a full day at the Lindbergh General ramp costs $16. E-Park® is the airport's automated credit card payment system. Without e-Park the costs are $14 and $18, respectively.

Located just a short distance away from the Lindbergh Terminal, the Humphrey ramp offers both convenience and cost savings, with Light Rail Transit (LRT) service that runs every 10 to 15 minutes between terminals. There is no charge for light rail service between airport terminals.

Travelers who choose to park at the Humphrey Terminal but who will be boarding their plane at the Lindbergh Terminal should arrive 30 minutes earlier to allow ample time to park and take the LRT to the Lindbergh Terminal.

The airport's SurePark™ program also helps customers plan ahead by informing them of when the Lindbergh Terminal parking facilities are full or near full. Simply call 1-877-359-7275 (FLY-PARK) or log on to www.mspairport.com. To request a text message be sent to your mobile device, text a message to 444555 and then enter the number of minutes in which you'd like to be notified of parking status availability. Text “0” for an immediate message.

Customers in need of special transportation assistance between terminal buildings can call the airport's information line at 612-726-5555 for information about alternative transportation or parking options. A live operator is available every day, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

For driving directions to either terminal or for more information about travel through MSP, travelers can visit www.mspairport.com.
